Public Education
For decades the DCC has supported the Dallas Independent School District as a major funder and steward of bond elections and building programs, and in support of major efforts to reform our schools. The Citizens Council strongly supports “Our Students, Our Future,” the $1.35 billion bond campaign for Dallas ISD to be decided in a May 10 election. If approved, the funding will allow the district to build and renovate dozens of schools. A vote to pass the bond campaign will enable DISD to continue on the path of preeminence.
